10. Old Business

• Armel Hollow Road work continues. Pipes and catch basins are in and the next step is patching.
• Road Crew will be able to start Noel Road work as soon as next week.
• The township cleanup day – Dumpster Day went well with 4 full dumpsters, a full scrap dumpster, a load of old electronics and approximately 80 tires disposed of. 

11. New Business

• The township was awarded the LSA grant funds for purchasing an excavator and for paving Armel Hollow Road.  Contracts for funds to be released will come in December. 
• Met with Beiler Brothers Asphalt for consideration of
  • Patching over installed drain pipes and cross pipes on Armel Hollow Road before winter, bid of $12,260.  This is still part of the LVDGR Grant. 
  • Creating and Paving bridge transitions on the newly installed bridge on Hoods Mill Road, bid of $4,000
  • Hot Sealing on the newly installed bridge on Hoods Mill Road, bid of $4,260
  • Old Distillery Road to be patched and paved in 4 areas before winter.  Working on getting the required 2^nd and 3^rd bids before moving forward.
• Motion to accept lowest bid for paving on Old Distillery Road; 2^nd by ________________                       All in Favor Yay___ Nay __
• Motion to accept bid of $12,260.00 from Beiler Brothers Asphalt for patching over drain pipes and cross pipes on Armel Hollow Road; 2^nd by _____________ All in Favor Yay___ Nay __
• Motion to accept bid of $4,000 and $4,260 from Beiler Brothers Asphalt for Hot Sealing the bridge and creating then paving smooth bridge transitions; 2^nd by ______________ All in Favor Yay___ Nay __
• The township will be submitting an application for an LVDGR Grant for Hoover Road to be done in 2027
• The municipality is required to meet with EMS and FD leadership to review, discuss and update the fire and emergency medical services response plan.  That meeting has taken place.

On election days Cook Township residents may vote at Cook Township Community Center from 7:00 a.m. till 8:00 p.m.

There will be a closure on 711N near the Ligonier County Club starting October 14 for approximately 1-2 Weeks.  The official detour is Route 381 Through Rector.

*Road work continues on Armel Hollow Road.  Expect Delays.
